Little health care in health care bill The Daily News of Newburyport
President Obama signed into law for the nation the health care bill, a document 2,733 pages large. I listened to what it would do for Americans and the several wonderful points the Democrats have hyped.
What bothered me was why 2,733 pages and what else was in this bill that they don't talk about. I looked into it and I finally gave up, but here is some of what I found.
Section 1408 deals with the elimination of unintended application of cellulosic "biofuel" producer credits. This is not health care.
Section 1501 Subtitle 7 Other Provisions — Community College and Career Training Grant Program. This calls for spending $500 million in the years 2011-2014. This is not health care.
Section 1005 allows for spending $1 billion to carry out federal administration expenses to the health and human services to carry out the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. More bigger government.
